Your role and responsibilities

Develops and communicates the strategic vision and roadmap for Upstream Oil & Gas digital offerings Understands market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to define Digital Product goals and objectives Supporting functions to identifies potential gaps in the portfolio concerning the competition and new market opportunities Owns the technical and market specifications for the Upstream Oil & Gas digital offerings and help determine a business plan for the offering that supports sustainable growth Analyzes market data, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize feature development Manages the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ensures timely delivery of high-quality digital offerings Prioritizes product features and enhancements based on customer value, business impact and resource constraints Gathers feedback, makes data-driven decisions and balances competing priorities Develops go to market strategies and collaborates with marketing teams to create product messaging, positioning and promotional campaigns Supports product launches and monitors the performance of the offering, post launch Sets targets and monitors digital offering costs and gives inputs to concerned functions (example Digital, Supply Chain Management, etc.) to maximize competitiveness and profitability Defines Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and establishes metrics to measure product success and customer engagement Prioritizes new digital offering development projects with the responsibility for achieving the targets (product characteristics, time, costs, capital expenditure, pay-back, etc.) and coordinating with cross functional teams Monitors the product performance, conducts data analysis, and uses insights to drive product improvements Gathers and analyzes customer feedback through surveys, interviews and user testing Collaborates with the Digital team stakeholders to create intuitive and compelling user experiences Acts as a customer advocate and incorporates feedback to enhance product features, usability, and overall customer satisfaction. Manages expectations, provides updates, and fosters effective communication throughout the product lifecycle. Monitors and analyzes the competitive landscape to identify market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive threats. Stays informed about the industry best practices and incorporating them into product strategies. Iterates and evolves digital offerings based on user feedback, market dynamics, and changing customer needs. Seeks opportunities for product enhancements and innovation to maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelors Degre in EE, Control/Instrumentation Engineering, System Engineering and minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in upstream Oil and Gas
  • Experience with SCADA / Host Systems for Upstream Measurement and Automation
  • Experience/Knowledge of field site automation, telemetry and controls
  • Knowledge/experience on HOSTED and On Premises Software Application deployments
  • Market Intelligence
  • Knowledge/experience in Go to market Strategy for Digital Solutions
  • Customer Experience Success
  • Knowledge/experience of Upstream Application Regulation & Legal Compliance
  • Knowledge on Cybersecurity
  • Product Lifecycle Management
