Compensation
The compensation target range for this role is:

Purple is seeking a Digital Product Designer to join our team. As a Digital Product Designer at Purple you will work collaboratively with other designers, product managers, developers, site merchandising and project managers on a variety of projects to help elevate the overall customer journey.You'll engage across all stages of a project, concepting, prototyping, visual design, information design and user research. You’ll be responsible for the design solutions that shape our customer experiences.

Responsibilities:
Ideate, concept and design responsive Digital Products, from initial concept to final implementation
Work collaboratively as a member of the digital design team, focused on functional, human centered, conceptual and beautiful user experiences
Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance the user experience
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs
Maintain awareness of key performance metrics and incorporate findings into design iterations
Crop, cut, create renditions, and load web site images, GIFs, and videos optimized for release to our web platform
Ensure asset quality meets or exceeds brand standards
QA designs to ensure quality assurance and accuracy from design to development
Contribute to product design standards documentation and best practices
Support and maintain our digital design system
Support enhancements to online experiences, promotions, project updates and routine maintenance
Qualifications:
A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a positive attitude
Strong human-centered visual design skills: you are able to work at the intersection of brand and product design
Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying data-driven insights to inform design decisions
Experience working with design systems
Ability to design within a system and create visual consistency
Experience in user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
Strong attention to detail and design accuracy
Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and mobile-first design principles
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency with Adobe CC Suite and Figma
Education/Experience:
3+ years of digital brand-focused design experience (DTC or ecommerce experience is a plus!)
A portfolio website featuring examples of web design, graphic design or interactive design
