To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each of the following duties satisfactorily.

Working as a Digital Print Operator, you can expect the following:

You will operate the printer safely and ensure printed materials meet quality standards (proper stock, proper alignment, and proper job). You will need to provide routine maintenance to keep printers operable (i.e. add toner, fuser agents and or ink).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Must meet or exceed the department established production standards.

· Operates printer(s) to process work in a timely manner to match the demands of the production schedules.

· Loads printer(s) with appropriate stock and supplies.

· Enters commands to start operations.

· Maintains a steady workflow.

· Produces quality work – Quality checklist: Ensure proper print position, Adhesion test, Readability of MICR.

· Observes equipment and error messages displayed on the monitor to detect faulty output or machine stoppage.

· Enters commands to correct error or stoppage and resume operations.

· Contact Tec. for appropriate errors and equipment failure

· Notify supervisor of errors or equipment stoppage

· Clears equipment at end of run and reviews next assignment.

· Records problems, such as downtime, and actions taken.

· Responsible for minor maintenance/cleaning of the printer(s)

· Maintains safe, neat, and orderly work area.

· Return stock appropriately to warehouse.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each of the following duties satisfactorily.

You must be available 8 hours per day and work overtime/extra days when the workload demands it. You must meet the physical requirements for the job and have strong technological skills. Experience and education are important factors. Experience in Digital Print Preferred.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks.

· Good organizational skills.

· Ability to work with little supervision.

· Must be computer literate and have general computer skills.

· Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

· Have a sense of humor (we're serious about this one!).
