Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Press Operation: Operate and maintain Digital Press equipment, ensuring it runs efficiently and produces high-quality prints.
- Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks to ensure printed materials meet established standards for color, clarity, and consistency.
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto the press, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on the Digital Press to keep it in optimal working condition.
- Workflow Management: Coordinate with the production team to schedule and prioritize print jobs to meet deadlines.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and address any technical issues or malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Calibration: Calibrate and adjust printing equipment to maintain color accuracy and consistency.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of consumables and materials in MIS.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in Digital Press operation is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital technology.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality output.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet production deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Desired Skills
- Proven experience as a Digital Press Operator in a printing or graphics environment.
- Knowledge of various print substrates, inks, and finishing techniques.
