Digital Media Manager

Classification: Salary, Full Time

SalaryGrade: Non Exempt

Reportsto: Marketing Director


Job Description: The Digital Media Manager must be enthusiastic, creative, and self-motivated. This role will aid the Marketing Director. Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal skills, and multitasking are a necessity. Must be able to balance both long-term and short-term priorities and projects. 


  • Essential Job Duties
  •  Work with the Marketing Director to implement both day-to-day and long-term marketing strategies. 
  •  Act as the primary graphic designer for both internal and external marketing projects, to include flyers, brochures, digital content, event advertising, etc. 
  •  Plan and develop short and long-term social media schedules and strategies.
  • Create interesting and engaging written and visual content for social media marketing.
  • Engage with audiences on social media platforms to drive engagement and metrics:
  • Respond to comments and questions
  • Engage community supporters by tagging other vendors and sharing content in which The Reserve is tagged
  • Coordinate execution support for influencer and corporate partnerships.
  • Schedule photography needs for major club events and holidays.
  • Manage and organize the company's SEO and SEM efforts.
  • Measure and develop reports to track and demonstrate effectiveness of social media marketing efforts. 
  • Identify opportunities for The Reserve on new viable digital platforms
  • Coordinate marketing projects to include timelines and progress for both internal and outsourced projects.
  • Gather content from internal and external resources for marketing initiatives. 
  • Maintain company marketing collateral database. 
  • Work with the Marketing Director to plan and implement branding initiatives.
  • Assist in planning and executing promotional events on and off property. 
  • Maintain favorable relationships with outsourced vendors and contacts.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Director as needed. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Some after-hours and weekend work for related events may be necessary.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field. 
  • 1-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field. 
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom. 
  •  Experience and in-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms. 
  •  Experience and knowledge about best SEO and SEM practices.
  • Knowledge about Constant Contact, Google Analytics, and WordPress a plus. 
  • Passionate about working in a creative and collaborative environment. 
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to interact with all types of demographics of people, including staff, Members, professional and youth athletes, parents, coaches, and media.

Supervisory Responsibility:  None


Work Environment:  This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines.  The office area is generally quiet.  Often exposed to outside weather during oversight of vendors/events. 


Physical Demands:  Must be able to sit for long periods of time.   Ability to lift, push or pull thirty pounds in order to fulfill job duties. 


Travel:  Some travel required. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance and reliable transportation required.  


Required Education and Experience:  Bachelor's Degree in Communications or another related field, preferred. 


Additional Eligibility Qualifications:  Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.


Work Authorization/Security Clearance (If applicable):   Must show ability to work in the United States.  


Other Duties:  Will be assigned when needed at supervisor's request.
