We are seeking a Digital Media Assistant to join our team!
Summary:
Primarily responsible for assisting, implementing, and monitoring the company’s social media campaigns, as well as monitor web designs as updated. As the Digital Media Assistant, he/she must exhibit a high level of creativity, organizational skills, and self-motivation to work well with the Brand Communications (Marketing) team.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in content creation such as photoshoots, videos, and graphics as needed
- Schedules regular social media content
- Assists in planning social media traffic and inboxes (answers comments and questions)
- Stays up to date with social media trends and current best practices
- Places product orders on an as needed basis
- Actively tests the quality and functionality of web pages and proofing website content for errors
- Actively initiates company competitor research to provide meaningful recommendations to the team
- Assists in monthly digital marketing reports
- Attends trade shows and other company events and facilitates marketing and social media coverage as needed
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in communications, business, digital marketing or other related degree and/or a minimum of one-year related experience required
- Bachelor's degree in communications, business, digital marketing or other related degree is a plus!
- Knowledge of social media and scheduling platforms
- Interest in sports is a plus!
- Possesses excellent computer skills and is proficient in the use of Microsoft 365
- Knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus!
- Web design, photo/video shoot, and editing skills are a plus!
- Basic understanding and/or interest in Google Analytics and Search Console
- Attention to detail, perform under tight deadlines, and work both independently and with a team
- Effective verbal and written skills, Japanese a plus!
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret company related documents
