About the Position
The Kenco Group is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to join their team. This position will involve working closely with the marketing team to develop and implement Digital Marketing campaigns across various channels, including both organic and paid social media, paid search, and web. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, knowledge of Digital Marketing strategy and trends, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
This is a part time internship that would be 15-24 hours a week.
Functions
  • Assisting with social media management, including content creation, scheduling, and analytics tracking.
  • Learning and implementing search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve website visibility.
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of digital advertising campaigns, including PPC and social media ads.
  • Assisting with the creation and implementation of lead generation and conversion optimization strategies.
  • Assist with the management of the current Kenco website, this may involve tasks such as updating content and refreshing SEO tags and Meta descriptions.
  • Assisting the Digital Marketing team with the redesign of the kencogroup.com website, which may involve tasks such as conducting research on user experience best practices, creating wireframes or mockups, and providing feedback on design concepts.
  • Monitoring and analyzing website and social media analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Using analytical tools to monitor and report on performance across all Digital Marketing channels, including social media, website traffic, and digital advertising. This may involve tasks such as collecting and organizing data, creating dashboards or visualizations, identifying trends or insights, and providing recommendations for optimizing campaigns or adjusting strategic plans based on the data.
  • Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and other learning opportunities to build knowledge and skills in Digital Marketing.
  • Having the opportunity to shadow marketing team members outside of Digital Marketing.

Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or working toward a Master's degree with a preference for Marketing, Advertising and/or Business focus.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
  • This is an entry level position therefore previous experience is helpful but not required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel. Additionally, the candidate should possess the capability to quickly and effectively learn and utilize various digital platforms, such as WordPress, Pardot, Canva, among others.
  • Basic HTML coding knowledge considered a bonus.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently independently.
