• • We are looking for Data Science professionals to be part of the Data Science Center of Excellence at Memphis facility. You are going to be key part of digital transformation journey developing digital innovations in process industries and accelerating the design & development of digital products and solutions including Artificial Intelligence.
  • Working closely with Buckman stakeholders and subject matter experts to derive deep industry knowledge across various process industries and tee up proofs of concept projects to demonstrate how Data Science can be used to solve problems in unique and novel ways
  • In addition to the pure Data Science problems, you will be working closely with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of sensor scientists, software engineers, network engineers, mechanical/electrical engineers, and chemical engineers in the development, and deployment of IoT solutions
  • Design, train, implement and maintain machine learning algorithms and statistical models to identify and invent innovative metrics, use cases, or data products.
  • Perform data mining, exploration, and analysis, create data visualizations, reports, dashboards, and data audits. Creating automated anomaly detection.

1. Minimum requirement to apply

Must have had successful experiences:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or related field required or
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering or related engineering / technical field with minimum 3 years of Data Science related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages R, Python, MATLAB, JMP, Minitab, Scala and familiar with key libraries such as Sklearn, XgBoost, GLMNet, Dplyr, ggplot, Rshiny.
• Expertise in Data querying languages (e.g. SQL, Hadoop/Hive) and Microsoft IoT/Data Science toolkit
