SBG, a DSS, Inc. company, specializing in engineering, information technology, cyber-security, intelligence, and training, is looking for a hard-working results-oriented Digital Engineering Manager subject matter expert (SME). We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude looking to join our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate for this position is a hard-working experienced individual who can excel in a very fast-paced government contractor environment. Candidate will be required to work on-site at a US Army location in Warren, MI with hybrid work options available.
OVERVIEW
The Digital Engineering Manager-SME will work directly with customers to support both fielded combat vehicle systems and modification/upgrade programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Digital Transformation efforts for US Army Ground Combat Systems current and next generation vehicles with experience in Digital Engineering and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
- Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and training Government and contractor staff on Digital Engineering best practices.
- Lead a team of Systems and Digital, and Software Engineers to update traditional 2D/3D CAD artifacts and processes to modern Digital Engineering standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years experience in systems engineering for hardware and software systems
- 5+ years experience documenting complex systems architectures
- 5+ years providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring in support of complex systems
- Experience with the following suite of Digital Engineering and CAD tools preferred: MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, Siemens Xcelerator, Creo, and eQube
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to describe complex technical concepts and lessons learned to non-technical audiences
- Army armor or infantry operational experience is a plus
- Experience with digital twin technologies, such as advanced simulation and visualization, is desired.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to start, and eligible to be cleared for a Top Secret after.
