Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Product Manager to join our team in the Digital EHS as part of Maintenance Engineering and EHS product line. We are looking for a candidate with expertise in project management, coordination, release management, support management and effective communication with vendors. You will play a crucial role in supporting our core Sustainment Digital EHS team and contribute to the major goals of our Digital EHS strategy.
Primary Activities of the Position:
- Collaborate with the Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define and execute the product strategy and roadmap.
- Drive the software development process, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment, following established SDLC methodologies.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of the Digital EHS product.
- Provide ongoing product line/L2 support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the Digital EHS systems, collaborating with AMS teams to address issues and implement enhancements.
- Effectively communicate with business partners, vendors, and AMS teams to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and provide updates on product progress.
- Participate in the design and architecture of the Digital EHS systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, requirements specifications, test plans, and user guides.
- Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvement.
What We Need:
- Proficient experience in software development and product management, preferably in the EHS domain.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies and software development best practices.
- Experience in requirements gathering, system design, and preferable architecture.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and ability to address system issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, business partners, vendors, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
Ideal Candidate: Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development and product management.
- Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, MS Project, JIRA/Confluence).
Good to Have:
- Experience with EHS software solutions or similar industry applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of data analytics and visualization tools.
- Familiarity with mobile application development.
Nice to Have:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with international EHS regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, or IoT technologies.
