Job Responsibilities
- Write detailed functional specifications that document newly created designs and support product introduction.
- Test and verify hardware to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements, by recording and analyzing test data
- Model, build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with simulation
- Develop VHDL code to support FPGA-based designs; be proficient in simulating and debugging design in code and on circuit board
- Select hardware and material, assuring compliance with specifications and product requirements
- Propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline
- 2~3 years of experience
- Circuit board design and troubleshooting experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this position.
- Must be able to work onsite at our Waukesha, WI location
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Masters Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical)
- Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program
- Strong interpersonal skills
