Job Summary: The Digital Communications Support Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service by responding to Digital Communications from customers in a timely, accurate and professional manner. Representative will connect with customers through online banking conversations or emails and work to provide real-time support for customer concerns. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST's Character Qualities.
Essential Functions:
•All expectations described in the job description's essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
•Responds to all incoming Digital Communications quickly; handling all queries in a polite, professional manner.
•Must possess effective written communication skills, demonstrate an emphasis on proper grammar and clearly and concisely communicate to customer inquiries.
•Requires the ability to multitask effectively. The representative will need to reply to customer questions, research account activity and notes, troubleshoot issues, provide and process documentation along with any number of other tasks.
•Proactively offer solutions and set expectations with the customer, moving towards a quick resolution.
•Researches and resolves problems and errors by taking ownership and following through to resolution. Requires independent decision making, occasionally escalating problems to a supervisor or team lead.
•Maintain a thorough understanding of bank procedures, products, and processes to provide reliable support and instill customer confidence.
•Follow established procedures to prevent losses and identify potential fraud.
•Assist with answering incoming customer phone calls as instructed by CSC Market Manager in times of high call volume.
•Assist with digital tasks and reporting as instructed by CSC Market Manager.
Education and Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; Prefer 1-2 years previous experience and/or banking with a minimum of 6 months customer service experience.
Required Skills and Knowledge: Excellent customer service, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of online mobile banking and services. Strong organizational skills and a high level of time management. Detail oriented and ability to multi-task. Must be able to navigate multiple Microsoft Office products and web-based applications simultaneously.
Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Nationwide Mortgage Lending System (NMLS) Registered or ability to meet qualifications for registration.
Physical Demands: Extended period(s) of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Working Conditions: Normal office conditions.
