SalaryThe Communications team at Vontier is growing for the first time. Spearheaded by the Director, External Communications, this role is the second on the “External Comms Team” to work across Corporate with all Operating Companies in mind. What you will do
- Maintain, assess and optimize website, LinkedIn, intranet and other social channels for company
- Conduct regular brand property audits of external/internal digital channels for benchmarking and continuous improvement
- Partner with External/Internal Communications counterparts and other key functions to effectively align digital strategies/activities across all internal and external audiences
- Create “Vontier Way” playbook for Digital Communications
- Lead content creation such as webinars, AMAs and video series
- Be accountable for achieving annual digital KPI goals
- Leverage graphic design skills for LinkedIn graphics
- Key liaison with Comms team for consistency and cross-pollination of content
Who You Are
- 5-6 years in Communications, marketing or other creative production experience, with 2-3 year’s experience in social media running professional or corporate social media accounts.
- A curious person, eager to learn. Our industry can be a little complex. We’re looking for someone who can pull stories from unexpected places and help them be relatable to a mass audience
- Someone comfortable with ambiguity. While Vontier is an established company, our team operates with a nimble, startup mentality. We like to think it’s the best of both worlds!
- A self-starter. We know…everyone says it. But in this role, you have the reigns and will be given responsibility to run with your strategy. You’ll be asked to manage up (while still receiving clear direction and guidance, of course).
- Raleigh-Durham based or willing to relocate. The ideal candidate will operate on a flexible, hybrid schedule from our HQ near the PNC Arena. Travel up to 20% to create content. This is not a firm requirement, but heavily preferred.

The base compensation range for this position is $96,800 to $139,725 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
