As the Digital Commerce Director, you will be responsible for the functions outlined below:

Essential Functions:

  • Embody the principles of our mission and values, acting as a servant leader providing visionary guidance fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Work with Technology Department to ensure the best hosting/management solution is in place to handle future growth and security protocols
  • Oversee day-to-day functions and growth of the e-commerce site, as well as ecommerce campaigns.
  • Ensure sites are up to date with most current product, descriptions and inventories
  • Research and brainstorm new ideas and procedures with appropriate teams/departments
  • Coordinate digital marketing initiatives designed to complement overall sales & marketing strategy
  • Manage e-mail marketing campaigns to include follow-up reporting and suggestions for best practices
  • Coordinate future design updates for e-commerce site to include design and functionality
  • Participate in cross-departmental groups to accomplish WIG goals as set forth by team and team leader
  • Attend trade shows and other company-related events to provide support and expertise
  • Ongoing research & analysis of competitor web sites & e-commerce practices
  • Continues learning through e-commerce conferences and summits
  • Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
  • Provides adequate support, training and development to team members to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
  • Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proven exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of building, leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Internet best practices and the impact that these have on SEO.
  • Internet Marketing best practices that result in customer acquisition, retention and growth
  • Managing and directing website Technical Structure, Design & Aesthetics, Content, Navigation, Information Architecture, Branding/Marketing, Performance, and Functionality efforts to positively impact eCommerce efforts.
  • Degree in related field plus 5-10 years of experience managing websites and leading and developing co-located and remote teams.
  • Experience with backend website development and expertise.
  • Ability to specify technical changes to technical/development teams.
  • An in depth understanding of search engines, search engine optimization and factors that influence high rankings in Google.
  • Experience with PPC - Management of Pay per click programs.
  • Backlinking: can demonstrate successful link building campaigns that result in the acquisition of large volumes of inbound, high-quality links.
  • Experience using a CMS and an understanding of the impact they have on SEO.
  • Ability to compile and analyze search data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction.
  • Ability to perform click through rate, conversion, spend and creative analysis to identify growth/optimization opportunities.
  • Outstanding customer service and internal networking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead in a remote team environment.
  • Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
