  Job Summary

 

As the Digital Campaign Specialist at NorthShore - Edward-Elmhurst Health, you will help enable marketing and communications strategies using our enterprise customer relationship management (CRM). You will be responsible for building, testing and executing Digital Campaigns across email, text message and direct mail. You will leverage CRM to help deliver personalized campaigns and support patient journeys that facilitate service line growth and internal communications across all relevant touchpoints. You will be the point person for managing new requests from our health system's stakeholders and manage the CRM processes that ensure quality and successful campaign execution.

This role is part of the Digital Marketing team and reports to the System Director, CRM & Marketing Analytics. You will partner closely with colleagues on the Marketing and Communications team, and with team members across the health system, to develop CRM campaign plans; leverage creative assets to build campaigns; set up automations and journeys; segment campaign targets; conduct A/B tests; analyze campaign performance and optimize based on performance. This role requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of CRM best practices.

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Manage CRM marketing campaigns, including campaign strategy development, building campaigns, segmenting audiences and tracking performance.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the health system to build, test and run campaigns that support our strategic goals.
  • Build email campaigns using HTML, CSS and visual components. Configure campaigns and encode deliverables with tags that enable richer analytics reporting and optimization.
  • Create and manage audience segmented lists using CRM system for outbound marketing campaigns.
  • Continuously assess campaign performance and make improvements by creating campaign reports that analyze KPIs and identify trends. Provide key stakeholders with campaign results and recommendations for continued improvement.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Technologies (IT) to set up segmented lists and create reports that analyze campaigns performance.
  • Manage the CRM project request queue, oversee the distribution calendar and work closely with other departments to manage outbound communications.
  • Manage library of customized email templates that align with brand identify and style guidelines.
  • Assist with implementing new communication methods that help build external audiences through lead generating tactics.
  • Support effective internal communications with our team members by using healthcare industry best practices.
  • Manage patients' requests to change communication preferences and oversee CRM subscription to marketing communications.
  • Conduct testing to drive conversions and explore new ways to enhance our patient experience.

 

Education, Experience & Licensure

 

Level of Education Required:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

 

Level of Education Preferred:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

 

Minimum Length and Nature of Experience Required:

 

  • Two (2) or more years of relevant and/or progressive experience.

 

Minimum Length and Nature of Experience Preferred:

 

  • Four (4) or more years of relevant and/or progressive experience in healthcare setup or a related field.

 

License and/or Certification Required:

Special Knowledge and Skills Required:

 

  • Proven experience in coding emails using HTML and CSS
  • Experience with and knowledge of CRM and email marketing systems
  • Experience managing email campaigns, from concept to completion, including strategy, copy editing and asset selection
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of project and task management tools is preferable (e.g. Monday.com, Asana)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and be reliable and dependable
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail
