We are seeking an energetic and experienced consultant Dietitian/Nutritionist to join our new telehealth medical weight loss clinic. You will receive referrals from our telehealth physician and have access to our fully integrated EMR-Telehealth platform to visit with patients to create nutritional programs based on specific weight loss goals and medical needs. To reinforce your proposed plan, you will educate the patients on how to follow the diet guidelines closely, follow up on patients' nutritional progress, and make adjustments to the diet plan when necessary. This position is referral based and is intended to be a supplement to a primary source of income. Must be licensed in Missouri.
Dietitian Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient lifestyle, nutritional, health needs, and weight loss goals.
- Advise patients on setting specific nutrition goals
- Provide patients with educational facts on nutrition to improve their health
- Develop a thorough and cost-efficient meal plan that includes healthy foods and meets nutrition goals
- Monitor, track, and adjust meal plans
- Coordinate with patient healthcare professionals as needed
