Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for an inpatient position at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area, a 152-bed level II trauma center located in Corpus Christi, TX. The dietitian in this role will provide nutrition care to a variety of patients, including those on our level III NICU. Remote charting capabilities offered - this is not a fully remote position but does allow for generous flexibility with remote charting when needed. No weekends!

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master's degree)
Basic Management Experience: 7+ months general supervision
Basic Functional Experience: 3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:
- provide inpatient coverage on a variety of units, including the NICU and perinatal floors;
- be flexible, reliable and knowledgeable;
- serve as a respected member of the interdisciplinary team;
- act as a clinical educator, giving presentations to healthcare team members on a variety of nutrition topics as needed;
- be involved as a clinical instructor and preceptor for dietetic interns, new hires, and peers; and
- always project an image of professionalism.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
- Registered Dietitian credential and three years of inpatient clinical experience;
- prior experience in nutrition support, CNSC strongly preferred;
- excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups; and
- strong time management and organizational skills.
