Sodexo is a seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at Piedmont Macon in Macon, GA. Piedmont is proud to serve the Macon and Middle Georgia communities with full range of services. The facilities provide service in the area of cardiology, stroke, med-surgical care, intensive care, women's health and Bariatric services. Piedmont Macon Main is a 310 licensed facility specializing in both acute and subacute care .and Piedmont Macon North is a 103 licensed bed facility specializing in orthopediac and bariatric care. This position will be shared between both locations.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master's degree)

The successful candidate will:
- Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
- Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;
- Inform healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses of emerging changes in Nutrition;
- Rotating weekends and holiday provide hospital-wide coverage.

- Registered Dietitian credentials and licensed in GA is required;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player;
- The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.

- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
