Unit Description
Are you a Registered Dietitian ready to impact the life of patients in a large hospital?
Sodexo is seeking a full time (32 hours per week) Registered Dietitian for Lehigh Valley Health Network located in Bethlehem and Allentown, PA. This is an inpatient position that will work two days a week in Bethlehem and two days a week in Allentown. The Clinical Nutrition Team at LVHN is 70+ dietitians strong, with a leadership team that supports your professional growth.

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
• work every 3-4 weekends providing hospital wide coverage;
• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays; and
• educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses.

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in PA;
• CNSC or desire to obtain preferred;
• two years of acute care experience;
• strong verbal and written communication skills; and
• the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master's degree will be required)
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
