Dietician
Join OU Health Physicians as a member of our surgery team. You will work alongside the OU Health Physicians surgery faculty, residents, and staff. The role of dietician in our surgery practice serves to assess the general nutrition and plan diets for adult patients. This position is an integral part of our obesity medicine, bariatric surgery and surgical oncology patient care team. Our surgery office is located in the Bernsen building near 21 st and Utica.

Dietician

Essential Duties:
- Plan and implement modified diets for patients in our obesity medicine, bariatric surgery, and hepatobiliary surgery programs
- Evaluate and provide clearance for bariatric surgery related to readiness and compliance related to diet
- Prepare various reports and records as directed
- Monitor day to day dietary intake and related operational data
- Accumulates dietary records for patients
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position

Qualifications:
Working Conditions:
- Physical: Sitting for long periods of time. Manual dexterity.
- Environmental: Office Environment.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or closely related field.
Certifications or Licenses:
- Registered Dietitian or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to give full attention to others, taking time to understand points being made.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with others.
- Ability to apply general rules or procedures to a specific problem.
