HIRING FOR DAY & EVENING SERVERS
Food Services Assistants are responsible for assisting the Chef and Cooks in maintaining a clean kitchen area and in serving meals and busing tables in the facility cafe. Because Food Service Assistants are always in contact with residents and families, this position requires tact, sensitivity and professionalism.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Serve cafeteria meals for residents, guests and staff
· Maintain a clean work environment through the washing of dishes and cleaning of work area
· Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers
· Set up work and serving areas; assure that serving lines are properly stocked with adequate food, beverages and supplies for breakfast, snack and lunch services as appropriate.
· Maintain work and serving areas in a sanitary manner
· Assist other Food Services personnel in cooking activities as assigned
· Store unused food items according to approved health and sanitation standards; receive, store and rotate frozen foods as assigned
· Perform related duties as assigned
