Position Summary: A Dietary Aide assists in the preparation and service of food and beverage for patients, employees, and special events as instructed by the Dietary Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Use proper food handling/ safety techniques
- Complete tasks timely in accordance with meal schedule
- Prepare trays following residents’ diet order and requests
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager
Requirements:
- Must be familiar with kitchen and cooking processes
- Ability to read and follow recipes is required.
- Experience in a profession kitchen setting is a plus.
