Cook/Dining Services Aide
RWB Hospitality LLC, is currently looking for an experienced full-time or part-time dishwasher/Aide to join our culinary team. Must be willing to work varied days and shifts. We are looking for an individual that is passionate about work, can multi-task, work quickly and efficiently, and has a great attitude. Individual must be experienced in Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepares and serves high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and dietary needs.
- Follows daily production sheets using outlined standards, accurate portioning and correct temperature.
- Tastes all prepared food items and ensures attractive presentation.
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
- Cleans kitchen, dish washing after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
- Keeps refrigerators, freezers and storerooms clean and neat.
- Ensures food and supply items are stored and labeled per standards.
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
- Labels, dates and properly stores all food items.
- Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the Manager immediately.
- Attends in-service and safety meetings.
- Follows ServSafe guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
- Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
- Maintains exceptional working relationships with coworkers, residents and guests.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Have a general knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
- Maintains food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state regulations.
- Meets state health related requirements (as applicable for position).
- Ability to work in a team setting and be a team player.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional approach with coworkers and residents.
- Ability to keep all business and operations information confidential.
- Possess excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet department deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with residents and staff.
- Ability to follow and adhere to policies, procedures and standards.
- 1 year experience for Prep Cooks / 6 months experience for Aide (preferred).
Required:
- TB Test required or ability to complete within 30 days
