It participates in Medicare and Medicaid. We are looking for a Dietary Aide to join our team. Position Summary:

The overall purpose of the Dietary Aide is to Perform proper dishwashing and cleaning procedures and helps in tray make-up areas. Also, performs related duties as assigned

Responsibilities:

· Receives stacks and washes flatware.

· Controls use of soap and temperature of wash and rinse water.

· Transports clean items to their proper places.

· Cleans working area and equipment.

· Discards broken dishes and chipped glassware.

· Removes garbage from dishwashing area.

· Helps portion individual servings of menu items.

· Helps set up tray make-up area and loads food onto food carts. Pushes carts to and from nurse’s station.

· Stock groceries in pantry. Boxes can weigh as much as 48 lbs.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Special Requirements:

Willingness to perform simple, repetitive tasks. Judgement in operating the dishwashing machine and maintaining the flow of work. Capable of working under close supervision.

Physical Requirements and Essential Functions:

· Ability to Stand and walk short distances most of the working day.

. Reaches for, lifts, carries, and stacks dishes and silverware.

. Pushes food carts that weigh between 350-400 lbs.

· Ability to read and follow simple directions

· Ability to operate dishwashing machine. Capable of setting up portions of certain foods.

· Must be able to speak, read and write the English language.

4 Days on 2 Days off rotation - 3:30pm - 7:30pm
