POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Dietary Aide provides all dietary needs to the patients and assists with caregeria meal preparation and catering events for the hospital. Also responsible for kitchen organization, assisting with ordering of stock items, cleanliness and compliance with regulatory body requirements. Cashier duties and funds handling. Receives direction from Dietary Manager, Dietitian or shift leader, hospital staff, patients.
EXPERIENCE:
Dietary experience in the hospital setting requested
Food service experience is a plus
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge and experience in providing dietary support to hospital patients including special dietary needs/requirements.
