Duties:
- Assist with meal preparation and food production in accordance with dietary guidelines
- Serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with dietary department staff to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to interact with residents and their families
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic food preparation techniques
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and adhering to dietary guidelines
Experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
