Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Dietary Services Manager, the Dietary Assistant aids in food preparation, 
serving and cleaning the kitchen and dining area.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance. Must be capable of performing the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and Sensory Requirements (with or without the aid of mechanical devices): Reaching, bending, lifting, grasping, ability to communicate with personnel, ability to read and write and ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, ability to understand and follow training and in service education.
