SalaryThis position is responsible for the calculation and preparation of the special infant formulas as well as ordering, stocking and sanitation in the infant formula preparation room. The dietetic technician gathers relevant data from the medical record for support of the nutrition assessment under supervision by a registered dietitian in adherence to regulatory agency standards (IDPH, TJC, etc.). The Diet Technician conducts nutrition screening of patients, according to the hospital policies and procedures. Additionally, helps in the outpatient diabetes center with insurance forms.
