Overview Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Diesel Automotive Technician. The Diesel Technician / Mechanic performs car and bus service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service and buy back/turn back service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.  The rate of pay for this position starts at $28.95/hour. Lihue Automotive Technicians can make up to an additional $12 / hour with approved ASE certifications and an additional $1 / hour with a current Safety License Certification. Today – and every day – the safety and wellbeing of employees, customers and the communities we serve is our top priority.  This role is available as regular full time which include the following benefits:  Time Away from Work (paid time off) Employee discount Retirement savings plan including 401k with match and profit sharing Health Insurance Life Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Training and development Responsibilities We are hiring now for immediate openings.  Responsibilities include:Ensure that all warranty and mechanical repairs are completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs.Perform routine and annual DOT required repairs and inspections.Read and interpret diagnostic test results, often by using dials, gauges, and other computer equipment.Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists.Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles.Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts.Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.Participate in company and manufacturer approved training or other industry related training.Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards. Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctualityPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Must be at least 18 years oldMust have a valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).Must be able understand, read, write, and speak english.Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Must have a high school diploma AND two years of technical training at an accredited technical or trade school OR a minimum of three years of technical experience in an diesel repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.Must have at minimum four (4) ASE certifications from the following: A4-A6, A8, T1-T3, T7, T8, E1-E3, L1, L2, L4 and X1.Must have ownership of standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehiclesSubject to a pre-employment drug test and if hired, will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.Must be able to complete a pre-employment DOT physical and drug test exam to obtain a Medical Card as required by the USDOTAside from religious observance, must be able to work Full Time (40 hours per week).
