Diesel Truck Shop Foreman - Second Shift

I-State Truck Center Bismarck is your local Freightliner, Western Star, and Thomas Built Bus dealer. We are a full line dealership that supports all makes of trucks and buses. We are currently seeking the following position:

Service Shop Foreman - Second Shift

• Shift Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am

Job Duties:

• Perform test drives to verify complaint is resolved
• Perform Quality Inspections on completed units
• Perform Comp Inspections at times on customer units
• Perform minor repairs and DOT inspections as needed
• Assist techs as needed with repairs, lending a hand or guidance as needed
• Assist Service office in making sure everyone is on a job and next assignment is ready
• Updating customers and seeking approvals as needed
• Updating software programs such as Uptime Pro with updated information
• General Shop Duties, ordering and putting shop supplies away as needed
• Delegating duties to techs when we have no customer repairs to complete
• Learning Service Advisor role, for Saturday rotation and if we are shorthanded in office

Requirements:

• Must be able to work on shop floor with no restrictions
• Experience a bonus but will train the right candidate
• Computer skills
• CDL preferred but not required.
