```Duties```
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to: oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, brake jobs, drivetrain removal, wiring, and steering and suspension work.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct inspections and testing of diesel engines to ensure proper functioning
- Use automotive diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems in diesel engines
- Assemble and disassemble engines and other mechanical components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections performed

- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance techniques
- Proficient in using automotive diagnostic equipment to identify issues
- Familiarity with air brake systems in diesel vehicles
- Experience working with tractor-trailers, cranes, or other heavy machinery preferred
- Ability to solder and weld for repairs is a plus and will be additionally compensated
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients
