Diesel Mechanic Apprentice

This position requires you to join the U.S. Army or the Army Reserve as a Wheeled vehicle mechanic. We offer paid training as well as free housing and food while in training. to include free healthcare.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including air brake systems, fuel systems, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as belts, hoses, or wiring.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Operate power tools and equipment necessary for repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Perform welding and soldering as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.

-17 to 40 years of age

-Pass background check

-must enlist in the U.S . Army or the Army Reserve

-Must be a Permanent Legal Resident of the U.S.A. with Green card or U.S. Citizen

-Pass medical evaluation

Pay: $4,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
