What the Die Cast Operator will do at Polaris:
- Install and dismantle die-cast tools, shot-end tooling, dosing furnaces, robots, and trims
- Integrate peripheral components
- Facilitate and document any tooling repairs and maintenance required
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of the product for quality conformance using measuring and testing machines/equipment or by visual examination
- Operate high-pressure die-cast machines and trim press
What you need to be a Die Cast Operator at Polaris:
- Familiarity with Buhler Presses, Metal Mechanics Trim Presses, and ABB robots preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a professional manner
- Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift and lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations #PolarisMCO
