Patient care is our top priority-we train patients to do dialysis at home, provide the very best care in four (4) dialysis centers, and bring kidney-health messages to at-risk members of our community.
The Dialysis Technician provides care for renal dialysis patients, following specific protocols, under the supervision of an OPKC Registered Staff Nurse.
Required Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have current Washington state MA-HT certification or be able to obtain Washington State Emergency Volunteer Healthcare Practitioner status by first day of assignment.
- Current CHT or CCHT certification.
- AIDS/HIV certificate desired.
- Current CPR with BLS certification required.
- Medical or technical background relating to patient care or renal environment required.
