Reports to: Charge Nurse

General Description:

Diagnosing and treatment of human responses to actual or potential health problems through such services as case finding, direct patient care, health teaching, health counseling, supportive to restoring of life and well-being.

The Dialysis Staff Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who works under the supervision of the clinical care coordinator and/or dialysis charge nurse. RN administers high quality standards of Nursing Care to the dialysis patients. RN utilizes Standard of Clinical Practice for Nephrology Nursing. RN primary responsibility is to provide the patient with a safe and effective dialysis treatment. RN will utilize the Nursing process to coordinate the dialysis patient's care: Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation. RN will communicate with clinical care coordinator/charge nurse with regard to patient's condition and tolerance of dialysis treatments. RN will assist with maintenance of dialysis machinery.

Position Qualifications:

• New York State RN License, Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program
• 1 year experience as a Dialysis RN preferably
• Req. Certification/Registration: BLS

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $44.00 - $46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
