Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Dialysis team. As a Registered Nurse - Dialysis, you will provide specialized care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the well-being of our patients throughout their dialysis sessions.
Duties:
- Perform assessments and create individualized care plans for patients undergoing dialysis treatment
- Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs during dialysis sessions
- Monitor and adjust dialysis machines as needed
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, self-care techniques, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records of dialysis treatments
Skills:
- Experience in pediatric or adult acute care settings
- Proficiency in critical care nursing practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with occupational health and physical examination processes
- Competency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Ability to navigate electronic medical record systems
- Previous experience in a medical office or outpatient clinic setting is preferred
