How you will make an impact as a Diagnostic Authorization Coordinator:
- Authorization of any ADVENT Diagnostic testing via online, phone or fax resources obtaining and documenting appropriately with proper follow up on all pending or denied authorizations
- Complete evaluation, communication, appointment setup and documentation while working with the Provider team and insurance representatives for any peer-to-peers or appeals for denials
- Exhibit Best in Class Customer Service when working with insurance companies or customers
- Route authorization faxes, phone calls, or EHR tasks/orders appropriately among team and scan into EHR if needed with daily task/order monitoring
What we're looking for in a Diagnostic Authorization Coordinator:
- Best in class customer service experience
- Experience obtaining insurance authorizations
- Strong communication skills: verbal/written, listening, and building rapport
- Excellent skills in ability to prioritize multiple tasks with attention-to-detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent skills in typical office applications, such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams and Outlook
