We are looking to hire DevSecOps/GitLab Engineer to support our Enterprise IT Support Services work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC). AvMC is the Army’s focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms across the weapons systems life cycle. AvMC’s mission is to “deliver collaborative and innovative aviation and missile capabilities for responsive and cost-effective research, development, and life cycle engineering solutions” to equip the Warfighter with the best technology today and tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps technologies and tools to build/debug automated CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with one or more DSO tools like GitLab, Azure DevOps, or GitHub
- Strong familiarity with Kubernetes services, Helm package manager, Docker containers, and Virtual Machines
- Experience troubleshooting complex IT environments
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
- Perform server updates for ADO, GitLab and SonarQube applications
- Install and maintain GitLab Runners
- Monitor IAVMs and submit POAMS, as necessary
- Perform troubleshooting on ADO issues
- Knowledge in administering Kubernetes within G6 Tanzu Kubernetes environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Ten (10) years of prior experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- DoD 8570 Level II/III certification desired
- Active Security clearance required
