Job Description:

We at Triple Point Security is looking for a talented Mid-level DevSecOps Engineer II to play a pivotal role in our present AWS cloud migration project and future cloud engagements. Responsibilities:

The Triple Point Team provides cybersecurity advisory and technical services for its clients, and this individual will serve as a primary contributor for their respective subject areas:

• Analyzing existing applications to extract requirements for cloud infrastructure
• Developing and documenting original secure cloud architectures to optimize performance and costs
• Tracking cloud spend to ensure efficiency and budget adherence
• Deploying cloud resources using Terraform infrastructure as code
• Supporting application teams with app deployment, configuration, and data migration
• Performing security assessments to guarantee compliance with US federal standards
• Training application teams on AWS cloud services, ensuring best practices are followed
• Collaborating across teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud strategies
• Interfacing with clients and other stakeholders to present on progress, risks, and issues
• Updating standard operating procedures and security documentation for cloud environment
• Adhering to Agile and other project management practices including daily standup participation, issue tracking, reviewing risks and issues, and providing status updates

Required Skills and Experience:

Candidates must possess demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas to be considered for the position:

• Minimum 2-3 years hands-on technical experience with cloud in a DevSecOps setting
• A four-year degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related degree demonstrating technical aptitude
• AWS certifications such as SysOps Administrator or Architect Associate, showcasing your expertise in developing original cloud solutions
• Hashicorp Certified Terraform Associate certification, or comparable experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
• Experience using git for version control in a collaborative team environment
• Prior experience with cloud migrations, ideally within AWS environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to develop and document creative solutions
• Impeccable communication skills, both written and spoken, with strong teamwork and collaboration
• Proven Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, and ability to apply effectively in internal team and client settings
