Job Description:


HPC Storage team under HPC & AI business unit is building storage and related products for the largest supercomputers in the world enabling scientists and engineers to solve the world’s grand challenges. The team is looking to fill DevOps/Release engineer position to help build and deliver storage products to our customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Owning product builds and release lifecycle.

  • Automating the build, test, and deployment processes to reduce errors and increase efficiency.

  • Managing and maintaining the build and release infrastructure, including tools and servers.

  • Collaborating with development and test teams to ensure that software builds are stable and meet quality standards.

  • Managing and resolving build and release issues in a timely manner.

  • Managing version control systems and ensuring that code is properly branching and merging.

  • Creating and maintaining build and release scripts and processes to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of software products.

  • Collaborate with other external teams outside of HPC Storage in sharing tools and knowledge.

  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into release engineering team.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience with devops tools – Git, GithubAction, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jira

  • Strong coding and troubleshooting experience in any of the following languages: Python, Bash and shell scripting

  • Extensive experience with build tools

  • Knowledge of any container orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.)

  • Extensive experience as a Linux system administrator supporting enterprise computing platforms, and systems.

  • Experience with server virtualization.

  • Good automation and programming skills

  • Should be able to actively collaborate with cross-geo teams and across time zones

  • Experience with Ansible is a plus.

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

  • 5 + years of DevOps experience.

Annual Salary: $99,500.00 - $228,000.00
