Devops Engineer

TITLE:DevOps Engineer
TYPE: Full-Time, HYBRID
LOCATION: Wasington D.C. (Candidates must be local to Washington D.C., to accommodate working onsite at office at least one (1) week per month.)

REQUIRED

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required plus a minimum of five (5) years related work experience. Eight (8) years of may be substituted for education, for a total of thirteen (13) years of work experience.
• Must be eligible and able to pass a Public Trust Clearance background check.
• Must live in or near Washington D.C.
• Must be able to work onsite at the Accenture office in Washington D.C., at least one (1) week per month.
• Must be able to work East Coast business hours.

PROFESSONAL EXPERIENCE

• Experience with cloud automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible) and DevOps method.
• Working with development teams and troubleshooting Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, etc.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms
• Experience with virtual machines (VMWare ESX/ESXi)
• Experienced with at least one of the following scripting languages (Bash, Python, KornShell (ksh), Apache Groovy, Ruby)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Podman/Buildah)
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments and troubleshooting

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills:

• Database: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL
• OS: RHEL/Centos Linux
• Application Server: TomCat, JBOSS, Weblogic
• Containerization: Docker, K8S, Rancher
• IAAC: Terraform/Ansible/Puppet/Chef

Preferred Certifications:

• COmpTIA Linux+
• Cloud+
• Network+
• SolutionsArchitect+

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience in analyzing customer needs and developing overall concept and design objectives.
• Must be able to create software in a variety of programming and for a variety of IT software applications.
• Experience in debugging and correcting errors in computer programs.

COMPENSATION

(Starting from $140,000.00) A salary commensurate with background and experience will be offered.
