This role is with a global company that has beenaround for more than 30 years. They invented 3D printing and brought it intothe manufacturing industry. They provide personalized Healthcare Services products and also act ascontract manufacturer to customers in medical, dental, aerospace/defense, andother industries.

In this role you would be responsible for ensuring products and/or services for new customers providea high level of quality. If you have experience with new product development anddesign controls in a Medical Device environment, this could be the role foryou!

Development Quality Engineer II Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functionalproduct development teams to establish, implement, and maintain qualitystandards throughout the product development life cycle
  • Develop, execute, and oversee risk managementactivities, including risk assessments, hazard analyses, and risk mitigationstrategies, in compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Lead and participate in design and processfailure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA and PFMEA)
  • Identify and development of test methods,inspection plans, and quality control procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to the design andengineering teams to address quality concerns and improve product design andmanufacturability

Development Quality Engineer II Requirements:

  • 3+years of experience in a Quality Engineering role in a Medical Deviceenvironment  
  • Experiencewith new product development
  • Experiencewith design controls
  • Riskmanagement experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relatedfield preferred

Compensation:

  • $75,000 - $100,000  
  • Annual 4% bonus potential - based on companyperformance
