The Developer II position works closely with the business to contribute to the success of the cooperative by designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise IT software and integration solutions. The Developer II is responsible for organizational data strategies, design, implementation, integration, and usage.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enhancements and automations, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with external departments to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the technical design of systems and features.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other areas of improvement.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, reviewing their code and helping them grow their skills.
- Partners and builds relationships with the technology team and business associates to help increase the developer’s knowledge and ability within the organization.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential applicability to projects.
Prerequisites:
- Three to five years of similar or related experience.
- Must have experience with Symitar system, PowerOn, SQL and other query languages
- Experience in a Symitar EASE environment desired.
- (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree), or (3) equivalent industry & programming experience
Salary Wage will range from $87,622.76 - $146,037.93 per year. Wages posted are for grades 13 and will depend on experience.
