Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Technician to join our IT team. As a Desktop Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and efficiency of our Client's computer systems and ensuring that their employees have the necessary tools to perform their jobs effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues reported by end-users
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
- Set up and configure user accounts in Active Directory
- Assist with network administration tasks, including firewall configuration
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software licenses
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates on computer systems
- Assist with mobile device setup and support
- Document all support activities in the ticketing system
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on the use of computer systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and software applications
- Familiarity with Active Directory administration
- Experience with network administration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components (servers, switches, routers)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
