Design Modeling, Simulation and Configuration Engineer 2

Collaborating with an innovative technical team, you will work to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines through the use of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System, Teamcenter Review.  You will update and process electrical and mechanical design changes to ensure compliance with modeling and design standards while ensuring adherence to engineering and Configuration management procedures and company and industry standards.   
 The role will include duties and responsibilities such as:

• Resolve Design Modeling issues using computer-aided design tools, such as Creo, NX, and Zuken
• Performing initial design analysis to aid in the design process
• Review, update, and approve design changes to ensure modeling, design, and Configuration standards
• Provide CAD tool user support
• Develop and manage large complex 3D model structures to define the completed engineering design.
• Producing and manipulating 3D visualizations for design integration, visual comprehension, and understanding of complex designs and structures
• Develop alternative 3D models to perform leading-edge technology efforts, such as model-based definitions, additive manufacturing (3D printing), and proposed vehicle designs.
• Configuration identification, change control, status, verification, audits, and data management
• Submit configuration status, maintain delivery schedules, and facilitate change review boards.
• Establish and maintain required configuration management records
• Act as an advocate of Product Lifecycle Management best practices, methods, and processes
• Utilize configuration and data management procedures
