As a Design Engineer at Molex, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve troubleshooting, design tooling and create drawings as required using 2D and 3D CAD software.

What You Will Do

  • CAD design, assembly, troubleshooting, and documentation for processes/tooling/equipment. Perform necessary changes to equipment as required.
  • Participate in tooling design and initiate design reviews focusing on tooling and process improvements of equipment and machinery.
  • Organization of tooling, products, models/drawings, and equipment (i.e. tooling standards, tooling spreadsheets, tooling prints, tool room work orders, tooling revisions, supplies and purchased components.)
  • Self-motivation and discipline to work independently on projects.
  • Provide input/feedback for process flow/pFMEA or improvements for new/existing processes.
  • Operate equipment and train/assist as necessary while meeting required quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized working environment.
  • Will on occasion be exposed to information that is considered confidential, personal or sensitive in nature. Trust and confidentiality must be maintained.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in design and drafting, with a minimum of 2 year experience working with CAD tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications

What Will Put You Ahead
  • Working knowledge of Siemens NX
  • Associates Degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical
  • An understanding of electro-mechanical processes and 3D modeling with Parametrics
