responsibilities:
- Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements in collaboration with customers.
- Lead and coordinate efforts to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications.
- Lead testing and validation activities to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Oversee the team responsible for monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Provide support for fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle, resolving complex issues.
- Research technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
- Make recommendations for technology investments.
- Weapon, autonomous system, and/or aircraft sensor development and integration experience.
- Experience supporting major program milestone reviews and proposal (RFP, RFQ) efforts.
- Experience developing system requirement verification plans, functional decomposition and allocation, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Experience involving Model-Based Engineering approaches, methods, and techniques.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, electrical/electronics, aerospace, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
- 5+ years of experience in project leadership roles or management.
- 5+ years of experience leading mission systems development and integration.
- 5+ years of experience with radar.
- 5+ years of experience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems or coursework in RF theory.
- 5+ years of supplier management experience.
