job summary:
A Design and Analysis Engineer is needed for Skiltrek in the St Charles, MO area. This role involves leading complex electronic systems development, managing suppliers, and providing technical support, with expertise in radar, RF systems, and technology advancement.

responsibilities:

• Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements in collaboration with customers.
  
• Lead and coordinate efforts to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications.
  
• Lead testing and validation activities to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
  
• Oversee the team responsible for monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
  
• Provide support for fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle, resolving complex issues.
  
• Research technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
  
• Make recommendations for technology investments.

Desired Skills:

• Weapon, autonomous system, and/or aircraft sensor development and integration experience.
  
• Experience supporting major program milestone reviews and proposal (RFP, RFQ) efforts.
  
• Experience developing system requirement verification plans, functional decomposition and allocation, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  
• Experience involving Model-Based Engineering approaches, methods, and techniques.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, electrical/electronics, aerospace, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
  
• 5+ years of experience in project leadership roles or management.
  
• 5+ years of experience leading mission systems development and integration.
  
• 5+ years of experience with radar.
  
• 5+ years of experience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems or coursework in RF theory.
  
• 5+ years of supplier management experience.
