Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team. As a Histology Technician, you will play a crucial role in the laboratory by preparing and analyzing tissue samples for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise in medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and patient care will contribute to accurate and timely diagnoses.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine histology procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting
- Prepare slides for microscopic examination and analysis
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and documentation of specimens
- Adhere to strict quality control measures to maintain accuracy and precision
- Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Histotechnology or a related field
- Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures
- Proficiency in using aseptic techniques for specimen collection and processing
- Experience working in a clinical or research laboratory setting is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
