SalaryResponsibilities:
- Experience Required: Minimum one year of EMA/Mod Med scribing experience in Dermatology.
- Medical Transcription: Accurately and efficiently transcribe medical information during patient visits.
- Record Management: Maintain organized, up-to-date medical charts and records.
- Pathology Log: Maintain a pathology log in EMA.
- Instrument Care: Clean and autoclave surgical instruments.
- Documentation: Record patient history, physical examination findings, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans.
- Collaboration: Work with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
- Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Administrative Support: Prepare and organize medical reports, referrals, and other administrative documents. Assist with tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records as needed.
Skills:
- Medical Knowledge: Proficiency in medical terminology and the ability to accurately interpret and document medical information.
- Patient Care: Ability to provide basic patient care, such as assisting with procedures under the direction of a healthcare provider.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with healthcare providers, patients, and other staff members.
