**This position will be hybrid in the Whippany, NJ office - 3 days per week in the office**
The Derivatives Analyst reports to the manager leading the Documentation/Confirmation Team. Documentation is aligned within Derivatives Middle Office function which also covers Risk & Analytics, Valuation, Trade Processing, Collateral Management, and Confirmations. The individual will work within a team environment to both contribute to and lead certain team initiatives. The role's primary focus will be Trade input into Documentation Data Base, Trade identification, Trade affirmation and Report management.
Job Duties:
Retrieve data from Murex primary booking system to accurately book trades in Documentation Access Data Base.
Identify and reconcile trade details from Murex, Term-Sheets and confirmations for accuracy.
Reconcile Counterparty affirmations for accuracy and perpetration for confirmation review.
Prepare and Maintain daily Documentations reports for accuracy and data integrity
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to Derivatives, ISDA, Confirmations with knowledge of OTC products including Interest Rate*** Credit Default and Equity (preferred but not required)
Experience with Murex and Markit Wire and DTCC (preferred but not required)
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Ability to act with urgency when necessary. Detail-oriented with ability to problem solve and research issues
